I am Diana and welcome to my blog! Here is a little bit about myself.  I am the mother of an awesome little girl (Miss I), happily married, sports & fitness enthusiast, not a really skilled cook (but we survive). I’m still 29 and for the New Year’s resolutions I had one  big thing in mind –  by the time I’ll be 30, I’d like to be in the best shape of my life.

So the journey of HIITmom begun. We already ate clean and healthy, but with our busy schedules exercising was suffering. In the last 3 years, I went from 3-4 workouts per week to 0 — 1 workout per week. And that was visible. My body and mind were slow, I gained some weight (not much, but it was there), I had trouble concentrating, I had back and knees pain — I was turning in a little old lady ahead of time. ☺ Luckily, we moved in our new house right before Christmas 2013 and I was able to start working out again, as we have a gym in our house.

But working out alone is a real challenge, so I wasted a couple of weeks to find a fitness program that suited me and my needs. It was only in February when I discovered FitnessBlender.com and started with their programs. So far, I completed the 4 Week Fat Loss Program for Busy People, which was really great. This was the first program bought from Fitness Blender, and by the time I got through the second week, I just went and bought the 8 Week Fat Loss Program for Busy People which I start today. I really love that you have planned workouts, and that you have optional workouts you can do for faster results. The best part is that the workouts are 30 minutes or less, so I can easily squeeze in the daily workouts.

The most important thing though is that my daughter (I.) comes with me in our home gym and sometimes warms up with me, or just stays with me as long as I work out. For me it’s really important that she gets that working out is really healthy, easily to be done and will come naturally when the time will come. Now I don’t push her to exercise, only what she wants to do or can. She gets to see me pushing myself, she sees me sore, she sees me struggling. But she also sees me that I’m not done until the workout is complete.

As you already must’ve noticed, I am not a fitness expert, not a personal trainer, nor a dietician. I have plenty to learn, skills and moves to master. I am just a girl who still thinks on what she’s going to do when she grows old(er), trying my best to be healthy, fit and happy while living a normal life. 🙂 However, I am a Girls Gone Sporty Ambassador, and I am really proud to be part of GGS community!
